From a place of love.

At the heart of my little business is the commitment to create jewellery that not only is beautiful, but that comes from a place of love and integrity. As a designer I believe in transparency and honesty when it comes to learning about where your purchases come from, how they are made, and who makes them.

All of our jewellery is ethically handcrafted in Bali by an incredible team that I am so grateful to be partnered with.

Our production studio is a small family-owned business that employs over sixty local men and women, and is based out of a little rural village in the heart of Bali. Surrounded by tropical rainforests and terraced rice paddies, this village is famous for its handicraft in silver and gold. For centuries local craftsmen have been making jewellery in their homes and selling in galleries and the various shops that line the streets. Many of these jewellers have had their skills and talents passed down to them through the generations. Their intention is to keep the art of traditional jewellery making alive by using techniques that have been around for thousands of years, and to conserve the local craftmanship so it continues to thrive in Bali for future generations to come.

It was essential for me to partner with a manufacturer that aligns with my ethical values, standards of workplace welfare and sustainable practises. I spent a month driving around Bali on a scooter visiting as many as possible, which opened my eyes and gave me a great insight into the high level of workplace standards within Bali. I partnered with our incredible manufacturer as their company values and ethical practises went above and beyond my expectations.

They are committed to providing a high standard of health and safety and a positive happy working environment. They are dedicated to building a better community by providing jobs to local families, helping other artisan jewellers sell their products in their galleries and online platforms, and by offering internships for young people to learn jewellery making so they can start a silversmithing career. When visiting, what was very apparent was how much everyone was laughing and smiling. I watch many videos sent from my production team when products are going through the sampling process, and almost every time you can hear giggling in the background. It’s very sweet and comforting to know that our team are happy when working and creating our jewellery.

Our jewellery would not exist if it wasn’t for the hard work and dedication of our amazing production team. I feel so privileged to be able to work alongside them to bring my designs and creations to life. It is my intention that within each piece holds thousands of years of history, a unique culture full of gratitude and graciousness, and the pure magic of Bali.
